Finham Community Library
A local volunteer-led community library that welcomes all to borrow from a wide-ranging selection of books and to take part in a varied menu of events. You can even enjoy a cuppa while you browse! We hope to see you soon.
Hiring the library
Did you know that it is sometimes possible to hire the library for private meetings and smaller events? Facilities include full disabled access with disabled toilet facilities, a small kitchen and a flexible room layout. We have tables and chairs that can be arranged to suit your needs, Guest Wi-Fi is available. When booked you will have the facility for a whole session. Prices from £30 per 3 hour slot. Ring or email for enquiries. (If you are a registered charity or small voluntary group we may be able to reduce fees).
New Additions to "FLAG" Stock
Whatever your taste in books we are sure to have something in our stock that will keep you entertained. In our latest offerings we have mystery, suspense, a gothic tale and the works of wonderful story tellers. Come along and borrow one of our recent additions, some of which are 2o23 publications.

Please note that booking is recommended for ALL events as these are very popular and numbers are limited. Booking should be made in person at the library or by telephone. We cannot accept bookings by email as we will not have up-to-date information on the numbers already booked.
Please also note that "Rhyme Time" does not run during school holidays.
MONDAYS
"MINI MONDAYS" Craft sessions for toddlers. 10.30-11.30am. Alternate Mondays from 9th October 2023. (See What's On for dates) £3 per child
TUESDAYS
"RHYME TIME" Songs and music for toddlers starts 10.15am £2 per child
followed by "Stay and Play".
"CHAIR EXERCISE" Gentle exercise for older and the less mobile. Small classes. 1.45-2.30pm. £3 per person
WEDNESDAYS.
LIBRARY CLOSED with occasional craft events for adults. Prices vary according to activity

"KNIT & NATTER" 2.30pm 2nd Thursday of the month.
All welcome. £1 per person
FRIDAYS
"BOOK CLUB" 10.30am 4th Friday of the month. All welcome. £1 per person
"CUPPA WITH A COUNCILLOR" 3rd Friday of the month 11.00am -12.00
