MINI MONDAYS EVERY OTHER WEEK.
NEXT SESSION - 16th September Please book your place to avoid disappointment.
Monday 2nd September
Ice cream was today's theme, so we began by singing 'Five Ice Creams In An Ice Cream Shop' and then used puffy paint to make our own delicious looking ice cream cones - complete with sprinkles, of course!
Monday 19th August
Today's session began with a reading of the Gingerbread Man story, with everyone joining in with 'Run, run, run as fast as you can,
You can't catch me, I'm the Gingerbread Man!'
Monday 5th August
By popular demand, today's activities were based on the well-loved TV character, Bluey. The children made Bluey masks, coloured Bluey pictures and listened to a Bluey story. Thanks to all adults for helping their little ones with the trickier parts of mask making!
Monday 22nd July
Activities today were based on the story 'Mr Seahorse', by Eric Carle., which we began the session by reading.
The children made paper tissue covered seahorses and beautiful sun catchers. There was also the opportunity - as ever- for personal creativity.
Our next session, on August 5th, will be based on Bluey - by popular demand!
Again, through the holidays, older siblings are welcome and suitable activities will be provided.
Monday 8th July
Today, our teddies came with us to Mini Mondays as we sang teddy bear songs and made our own teddy bear puppets. At the end of the session, we all went outside for our teddy bear's picnic.
Sadly, today we said goodbye to one of our regular attendees as O is off to big school in September. We all wish her good luck and lots of happiness at school.
Monday 24th June
'I want someone to buy me a pony, Jig jog, jig jog, jig jog jig' was our starting point today as we made our own colourful hobby horses. It was wonderful to see some of the children 'riding' them home!
Monday 10th June
Fantastic cutting, painting and sticking skills were on show today in our art based on 'Twinkle Twinkle, Little Star' and other star and moon based rhymes.
Monday 13th May
'Three Little Men In A Flying Saucer' was the inspiration for today's artwork at the library, with the children making their own flying saucers, complete with aliens inside.
